Online magazine problems

Postby Administrator » Fri Jan 29, 2010 11:44 am

Our service providers are currently experiencing some problems with their system; so you may not be able to login for the time being.

I have been reassured that they are working on the problem with the highest urgency.

In the meantime please accept my apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience .

Best wishes,

Brett

Hi Brett,
First, thank you for the online magazines! It is such a help and chance for those who cannot subscribe and have the magazine delivered or buy it because of their location. For me it's a dream come true.

I already bought several issues. The problem is I can't save them as a pdf file. There isn't such a button there, although it is shown in the Help section. My printer is out of work right now and I can't print the pages I'm interested in immediately but I can't save them either. Is such an option (saving the issue as a pdf file) not available anymore or I just do something wrong. And if saving is not possible, is there a definite time for an issue to be available?

Sorry if the question sounds silly.

It is not possible to save the magazine as a PDF (or anything else for that matter). This is to protect our copyright and that of our contributors and also eliminates illegal distribution.

The magazine is always available by using your unique login (using your PC and a live broadband connection), where you can print any of the pages as many times as you like.

Currently your login will remain active in perpetuity. However, this maybe reviewed at some stage in the future, but you will be notified ahead of this time should we choose to make any changes.

Best,

Thank you, Brett,

The information is very helpful. I also thought about the copyright. It's OK in case it won't expire in some time.

Have a nice evening!

Hello Brett

I have just bought the February 2010 on line magazine.

Everything downloaded perfectly but when I printed the pages I could print everything except pages 34, 42 and 45. Pages 34 and 45 came out blank even after trying 4 times. Page 42 only printed half the page.

Is there a problem with those pages.

Regards
Zelda

No, there's no problem with any of the pages.

Try completing a 'clear cache' of your browsers memory. Instructions can be found here:
