December ATC Swap Sign Up

December's ATC swap theme is Snow - any aspect - snowflakes, snow scenes, snowmen, snow storms(!), etc. Please post here if you'd like to join in.

As usual: three ATCs to me by the end of December. Send them with SAE with large 1st or 2nd class stamp (or returns label and stamp), and please mark the backs of your ATCs and your envelope to indicate that it's the December Snow swap. (This will make it easier for my poor addled brain... ) If we have any overseas participants, I'll cover the cost of return postage for you in exchange for an extra ATC. PM me for my address if you don't already have it. I'll try to post back out by 6th January.

I've been having major issues with my PC and my web access, so if I'm slow in responding this will be the reason why.

Hi it would be great to have you join in! For basic information on ATCs read Andi's information at the top of the threads.


Our regular organized swaps have a different set theme each month - it's entirely up to you how you interpret the theme and what techniques you use.
Since we're "general" cardmakers in this part of the forums, there's no restriction on technique, but for swaps over in the Parchment Craft side they will expect a suitable parchment technique to be used. The swaps are sent to the "host of the month" who will allocate three different ATCs to be sent back to each member of the swap. The only requirements are:

that you keep to standard ATC size
that you keep to the month's theme
that you send three ATCs to the host within the time specified
and that you include a stamped addressed envelope for your swaps to be sent back to you

About the return postage: Usually our foreign members are not able to buy British stamps which are required in the UK for the return postage, so in such cases our convention is that the host will do this for them and gets re-imbursed with an extra ATC or two.
