FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

Hi All

For those of you with whom i am in contact on face book. I would like to tell you that i have deactivated my account as from today. Tomorrow being 1st march i intend to get my life back by keeping away from face book. No matter how much i tried , I have even tried giving advice to people how to cut down.... remember Jakki !! lol. I cannot seem to keep away from the games and the only way forward is to deactivate my account completely. Not only have i wasted a good part of my time but i have not crafted properly since i got hooked onto those games. I have been three days trying to better my score of bouncing balls and since the games are short you get tempted to say.. one more . One more here and there and i was on the computer several times a day since i leave it on. The only good thing that came out of it i have reduced my craft internet shopping to nearly zilch. So hopefully from tomorrow after i get my house in order to day i will get back to my parchment (before i loose the knack completely) my card embroidery and my cross stitch. Also I suffer from bad fibromyalgia and i need to move around. I have even stopped swimming because i get stuck crouched up for hours on the computer and i ahve reached a point where sometimes i cannot move when i get up. So now hopefully tomorrow i go back to the pool and by the time i go and come and sort out minor chores i will be ok to sit and craft.

I hope to remain in contact via this site and with the ones i was in contact on face book i hope i still have your email addresses.

Hi Chris, I know what you mean. I got bored yesterday evening and rekindled one of the games.

Will catch you on msn if you log on, but make sure you keep moving around that is so important.

I quite understand about the games as I play too. However I click on the games tag on my Yahoo homepage and those games last longer. I don't bother to better my score but like to just play one game after I have finished reading my emails. I enjoy FB as it keeps me in touch with my family abroad and friends who live far away. I only post when I've got something that I think is interesting to say (to me anyway!)

Hi I deactivated my FB a week or so ago. I hardly ever went on it but had so many requests of joining this or that or someone sending me plants and never ever did find them. still I am happy on this forum so its nothing personal my not joining in when i was with Face book
you can get carried away on computers even hubby was on my old one for about 4 hours and wondered where the time went.
