Dollshouse

Postby morbry » Tue Mar 09, 2010 1:19 pm

Helloe everyone.

Some people had asked about my dollshouse so I've managed to make an album.
As you can see it's Christmas all the year round!!
Except for the string of cards over the mantlepiece in the living room. All of the other cards are miniature images of my own work.

oh my goodness - I love it. especially the dollshouse in the dollshouse!!

I built my own dollshouse at nightschool when I was 8months pregnant. That baby is 13 now and it still isn't decorated.  in fact it is in my Mum's loft. I should let her help decorate it now, but it's so big I haven't space for it.

Yours is beautiful. Have you made any of the bits that are in it?
I went to nightschool the year after making it and made lots of little items, but never quite got the walls and lighting finished.

Sorry Morag from what Cal says it's a fantastic piece of work, but I can't see anything! It's a bit weird as I can see your owl perfectly, but there doesn't appear to be a link in either post to your picturetrail account

Morag,
That's incredible! I've never seen so many details and tiny objects. Sorry for my silly question - do you make all the things by yourself or you buy some of them - furniture etc.? The cards are very beautiful as well.

Ladies, just copy the link under the signature.

Morag, that is trulu amazing, such brilliant attention to detail, like the box of Tide in the utility, the Quality Street on the table and even the old intermission picture on the t.v.!!! It must have taken hours of dedication to get it to that level, well done!!

That looks really fantastic Morag! I have several friends who do dolls houses, and spend a lot of time (and money) on them. So do you, I think....

Its lovely Morag, It gives me a bit of incentive to build the basement for mine, lol. And perhaps put the furniture in it insead of keeping it in the boxes, lol.
you don,t have to be mad, but it helps!

What an incredible dolls house. Makes me wish we hadn't given Lou's away. Not that hers was this sort of size. We do still have all the bits, including a loo that makes a flushing noise. Mary
